About

LOX is a level-based top-down shooter with some charcteristics of a bullethell. Shoot your way through 10 (there will be more!) challenging levels with regeneration and plenty of enemies that want your booty.

Stroyline (very sketchy)

You were once an arch-mage in a nameless fantasy land. You got expelled from the mage society (idk why) and now decided to go into Xathoebar. Xathoebar is a mysterious place surrounded by mountains that nobody has every returned from. (You won't either). Yes the thing in the 4th level is a pentagram. Yes the thing in the 5th level is a temple.

Controls

- WASD to move,

- Mouse to aim and shoot,

- ESC to return to menu.

Mods for LoX

These are only applicable to LoX 1.4 and above. Put the LOXMOD file(s) into your mods folder in your assets folder

To make mods, download and read template.loxmod . Open in notepad to view/edit.

Template Mod - use as reference.

CasualPlaythrough v1.0 for LoX 1.4 . Intended for a casual and easy play-through - all equipment is twice as good and twice as cheap.

Harcode v1.0 for LoX 1.4 . For experienced players only - major buffs to most enemies.

EasierBosses v1.0 for LoX 1.4 . Makes the first 2 bosses slightly easier, and the others a lot easier. Final boss is then beatable without the best equipment.
